III — Our approach
A thesis focused on what the banking system does not serve well.
Peru's mid-market faces a structural financing gap: too large for retail banking, too small to be a priority for the large corporate banks, and frequently outside the reach of the major private-equity platforms operating across the region.
SOL Capital was built to close that gap with institutional discipline — robust documentation, formal investment committees, real collateral, and genuine alignment between GP and LPs — while preserving the flexibility to structure bespoke solutions across private credit, real estate, and special situations.
IV — Operating principles
Built for the next decade.
Institutional foundations
Day-one independent directors, formal investment committees, and documented IC memos.
Aligned interests
GP co-investment in every material vehicle. We invest where we ask LPs to invest.
Long horizon
Built to compound over a decade, not to chase a single cycle.
